Educational Qualification:

Candidates have to possess Matriculation or equivalent degree from a recognized board.

Pay Scale

Pay Scale as pay Band-I Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- and others allowances.

Age Limit

1. Candidates age should be between 18 years to 25 years for the above mention posts.
2. Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates 5 years, OBC candidates 3 years.
3. Age relaxation for others as per rules. Candidates are requested to see the details relaxation from the notification.

Physical Standard

1. Minimum Height of ST candidates 162.5 cms and Minimum Chest 76-81cms
2. Minimum Height of others categories such as Garhwali, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the state of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh Ladakh regions of J&K: 165 cms and Minimum chest 78 to 83 cms.And others states and Union Territories: Minimum height 170 cms and Minimum Chest 80-85 cms.

How To Apply

Eligible candidates are required to apply in prescribed format published in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar/website www.itbpolice.nic.in. Applications (duly filled in Hindi or English only) complete in all respects and Candidate’s

Admit Card duly filled, in the prescribed proforma as per Annexure ‘I’and Annexure ‘II’. The application should

either typed or neatly hand written in ball pen, on one side only on full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed on application should be sent alongwith application fee, and enclousers as mentioned in para-11 to “The Inspector General (North East) Frontier HQ ITBP, Old AP Secretariat Building, Cantt Area, GS Road, Shillong (Meghalaya) -793001”, on or before 15.12.2014  and for some others state 22/12/2014
